Expedition: Elements is a science museum for children ages 7-14 intended to bridge the gab between learning and fun. Each exhibit in this museum is exclusive to Expedition: Elements and is loosely based on the four elements, (fire, earth, water & air) in some way. The concept for this space is transformative exploration and is inspired by many of Zaha Hadid’s contemporary and fluid forms. The objective was to unite the curvilinear Deconstructivist forms with bold pops of neon colors to make the space fun and exciting. Therefore, not only will there be thought provoking and lively installations for the children to interact with, but the space is intended to be an exhibit, in it of itself.
